Refugees
An op-ed in the Jordan Times insists that Palestinian refugees must be allowed to "return" to Israel before there can be peace, as does a column in Arab News, which states that "not a single Palestinian Authority figure can ever" concede on the refugee issue. As this indeed is the position of the Palestinian Authority (including Abu Mazen), there is clearly no possibility of a negotiated solution to Israel's conflict with the Palestinians. posted on 5/19/2003
