Strange Managing
After two games in which the Mets' starters pitched until the ninth inning followed by a day off, how can Art Howe bring Pat Strange into a tie game? Strange has been terrible every time he's pitched and has an ERA of 23.62. Meanwhile, David Cone is languishing in the minors to build up his art strength. Even if Cone is just about finished, he'd be a much better option for middle relief than Strange is. posted on 5/21/2003
