Early Sunday afternoon, when Prime Minister Sharon was rushed to Hadassah Hospital and preliminary reports were sketchy as to his condition and prognosis, I feared, in addition for Sharon's health, that if the worst were to happen, many frum people would declare that God had punished Sharon for the evacuation of Gush Katif. It seems that rationalism is becoming increasingly scarce in the frum world.
